So touched that my DS thought of buying this surprise gift for me 

on Mother Mary's birthday on Sept. 8, 2016.

He heard Mass at the UP PGH Chapel and bought it. 

The Sister (nun) who he bought it from 

asked why he was buying the image, and he said, 

"For my Mom -- because she always asks for prayers 

from the Blessed Virgin for me." <3

DS's First Weekend Dinner with Us

UPM won't have classes on Friday 

as they would fix their SAIS site (enrollment portal).

So DS texted us earlier this evening

that he can go home! 

So excited to hear about it 

and so we immediately picked him up 

from the condo!

Brought his clothes for next week, 

changed his beddings, etc...

So that on Sunday, we don't have to

bring him back that early.

This is his first "weekend" (Thursday) dinner with us --

DS with his UP INTARMED Buddy Line

Every new INTARMED student has what you call a "BUDDY" -- 

An upperclassman who helps a younger one, sharing with him or her 

tons of notes, books, everything else helpful, & anything useful in the 

challenging journey towards becoming a doctor. 

Migs has 11 members in his "Family" -- making it 11 generations of 

iMED kids, 2 of w/c are MDs already.
