Fire in the U.P. Shopping Center

SO THIS IS WHAT WAS LEFT OF OUR STALL THERE (Stall No. 4) ---

Good vibes lang dapat sana palagi ang mga posts ko but I can't help but show what happened to the U.P. Shopping Center earlier this morning...

Just like the Alumni Center Bowling Alley, CASAA Food Center, and the Faculty Center in CAL, fire hit the entire SC...

We have been stall owners for over 20 years, and minana ng husband ko from his parents who originally owned the space back in their days (my MIL was also a Sociology professor in CSSP for many many years)... Parang may pattern lang nowadays na palaging may nasusunog sa U.P....?!

Nothing tragic like this has ever happened during our time there in the early 90s, and since alam naman ng nakararami na mainit ang mata ng U.P. nuon pa lang na alisin ang Shopping Center para matayuan ng bagong mall, this one leaves us wondering...

Sad day for us... PARANG NAMATAYAN NA DIN KAMI... :'(

P.S.: Last 3 photos were taken by DH as only unit owners were allowed by the firemen to enter and check their damaged properties inside...
